ABOUT US

PANOPTICON is an inventory where you have an overview - and where you can look in all directions.




Panopticon Film and TV Production Company is based in Oslo, Norway. The company has specialized in documentary productions, but do also have experience in making music videos and other audiovisual productions.

Panopticon's aim is to tell important stories by creative, innovative and informative means. We work globally, and we are cooperating with production companies in different countries.

We do also have equipement for rent on a short term basis.


ErikErik Hannemann is a photographer, director, editor and producer, with a diploma from London Film School. He has got experience from all fields of film-making and in the recent production, "A Journey in the Future of Water", Erik was the main photographer and the producer. He has over the last years been involved in several other projects.

In 2004 Erik was the photographer for a series of documentaries from Paris by NRK, called The Sound of Paris .

Earlier he has directed some documentaries on musicians: the uncompromising Norwegian artist St. Thomas in Be Cool Be Nice and the post-communistic Hungarian underground scene in Binji in Budapest

He started his film career by directing and shooting a documentary called Chasing Paradise (1999) It was broadcasted by NRK three times.

In his early years Erik worked as a photojournalist for national and regional Norwegian newspapers like VG, Aftenposten, Romerikes Blad and for different magazines and publications. He has covered events in a number of countries, like the Gulf war (1991), the war in the former Yugoslavia (1992), several Winter and Summer Olympic Games and soccer world championchips. Based in London he covered Great Britain for 4 years, including an unknown number of Premier League matches. Erik has produced several music videos, including videos for the Norwegian bands Flunk and Folk og Rovere.
