DIRECTOR ANDERS TAYLOR LARSEN
Anders Taylor Larsen is a freelance TV director, editor and photographer.
Over the last 15 years Anders has worked mainly for NRK, the national and public TV channel in Norway. He has directed a multitude of multicamera- and single camera productions, including the main TV news broadcast in Norway, “Dagsrevyenâ€.
Anders has studied documentary productions at universities in Vancouver and Montreal in Canada. For two years he lived in Jamaica, where he worked as a journalist in the main national newspaper. In addition he worked for foreign production companies filming in the country.
Since 1989 he has lived and worked in Norway. He has made several documentaries from Norway, Africa, the United States and Latin America. In 2002 he directed and edited a series of portraits for the independent channel Metropol TV. In the early 1990's he was the project manager and director for a groundbreaking TV series aimed at a teenage audience called “Uâ€.
In 2004 he directed and edited “The Sound of Parisâ€, a documentary series about music in Paris, and broadcasted by NRK.
Given Anders’ broad international experience and his interest in global and political questions, he is well qualified for directing “A journey in the future of waterâ€. In addition he has demonstrated great skills in making TV programmes where complex subjects are presented in an accessible and comprehensive way.
